Wanyi ZENG

Wanyi co-founded the Effective Altruism (Singapore) chapter in 2015. She leads and strategises the development of the effective altruism work here, including community engagement, partnership building and research. 

In 2018, she also piloted the EffectiveGiving.Asia charity evaluation research. This currently ongoing project seeks to identify the effective giving opportunities in Southeast Asia. The focus was narrowed down to charity interventions that target child and maternal malnutrition and/or improvement in water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH). 

Wanyi is also a signatory of the Try Giving Pledge in 2017.
