Cause Prioritisation: A method that can increase your impact with the same resources

What do we mean by cause prioritisation? Each of us (including individuals, organisations and institutions) has limited resources.

Resources come in the form of money, time, skills, technology, network, etc.

In order to do more good, we consider the range of issues/causes that we care about. And we choose to work on those that we think can make the most out of our limited resources.

Essentially, effective altruism is about how we can use our time and money more effectively, to help as many people (and sentient beings) as much as possible. If you take an evidence-based approach, consider all your options and make a decision to act based on careful reasoning, then you are applying EA in the way you do good.
